I put it through exercises which have produced problems on both duet and astropad, super fast hatching, this thing handles like butter.Īll the above is true for the Mac version as well, all in all I can not recommend this enough and will continue further testing.

But I remedied this but setting a different resolution( I could not create a resolution needed for Mac however so stuck on partial screen) so the entirety of the iPad’s screen is now used but i sacrificed the monitor’s aspect ratio for this and ended up with black bars on the side, but for the price and what I get I really don’t mind at all and it can be switched back in a single click of the button. Precision and latency work wonders here.the only negative I encountered was that it did not take up the entire dimension of the screen.
Without the leading lines on those apps the lag becomes much more readily seen but not here. It doesn’t even use leading lines like duet and astropad, because it really doesn’t need it.

Overall biggest problem was the poor color reproduction.Įnter Eas圜anvas, I gots to say this little thing is amazing, at 11 dollars for a flat purchase it’s an easy decision, on windows it has very accurate colors, but what’s more important is that the latency is phenomenal, absolutely phenomenal. Pros:works good across both windows and Mac, drawing is low latency(but can be improved)Ĭons: The negatives are many, poor color reproduction on windows side, I was having weird lag issues on the Mac side( strokes would stutter upon a millisecond before completion and would not inherit pen pressure on the end bits) ,touch on the Mac side is also very janky and very very bad, not so bad on windows but not great either.

Does exactly what’s it’s meant to and feels naturalĬons: extremely expensive, since Luna is pretty much a given for the additional experience, so base purchase plus Luna alone is 80+ dollars, the base purchase alone may suffice for some but was not ideal for me. Pros: Very low latency and amazing feel, nice gestures.
Now I’ve been going through every single one of these “make iPad into drawing tablet” apps one by one and here’s my findings
